Followers!

So, I’ve seen a couple of follower memes going around, but I never actually cared for them. Over the past couple of weeks, I finally reached 200 followers, so I thought I’d take this chance to get to know you. I’m really not good at reaching out to people and I’m sorry if I don’t follow you back! Nick/Name: You can call me Sway. Not too many people online know my actual name, but my nickname works just as well~
Age/Range: I’m 22 years old and my birthday is April 14th.
Gender/Preferred pronouns: I still use female pronouns even though I don’t consider myself a ‘woman’. However I would love to be addressed as ‘sir’ at some point in my life. Genderqueer~
Location/Time zone: I live in Maryland of the USA with the time zone of EST or -5 hrs.
I should trigger warn for: I’m pretty good to go, but pictures with gore and hypodermic needles usually trigger my rather severe needle phobia. Sometimes even talking about needles and medical procedures can set me off. If I find anything interesting, but triggery, I usually add warnings if there are none. A heads up from my followers on what I should TW for would be nice! I reblog some feminist posts and I like my followers to be safe and happy.
Anything else: Welcome to my blog! You can find out a lot more about me here which is on my front page. You can also find my Sherlock Holmes fanfiction recs. Click on a particular genre that interests you and you’ll find a number of fanfics that I recommend. If you have any genres you want in particular, you can always ask me and I’ll try to scrounge some up for you! :) Most of them are the BBC’s Sherlock based, but I try to throw in a couple of Victorian verse too! John Watson is my fandom bicycle, so most of what I rec will feature him in some way, though I can be moved by others, I’m sure. If you have anything to rec me, PLEASE DO SO. I love reading fanfics, it’s almost unhealthy.

I follow several fandoms, but not as devoted as I am to Sherlock and the Holmes fandom. I’m about halfway through the new Doctor Who and I have an entire list of other movies/TV shows I need to watch. Surprisingly, I don’t really die-hard ship characters. I make jokes every now and then and there are some pairings that I’m all over (Arthur/Merlin from Merlin, Ezio/Leonardo from Assassin’s Creed II to name a few), but I’m generally not interested in romance outside of fanfics. (It also doesn’t help that I’m terrible at pinpointing UST. IDK, I’m just really bad at it unless it’s in my face, oh lol.)

Sometimes I’ll post artwork. I have a major WIP that I’m currently working on and I tend to post screencaps of the progress as I go along. It’s just kind of difficult to focus and work on the art when I have so much Doctor Who to watch, Sherlock fanfics to read, my actual job and tumblr. So much tumblr. It has taken over my life. <3 Don’t be afraid to say hi now and then! :)
