As we all know by now, CBS has decided to create their own version of a ‘modern’ Sherlock. And if that wasnt bad enough, Lucy Liu, a former charlie’s angel, has been cast as the female counterpart of John Watson. A woman John Watson. Not to mention that her name will be Joan Watson, and will most likely end up in a relationship with Holmes as all tv show dramas go. Besides the point that they are stealing the wonderful idea from Moffat and Gattis, they have now decided to fully Americanize it and set it in New York City. I myself was born in Manhattan, and have lived here all my life, but yet have i seen an american remake of a a foreign classic that was any good. Maybe it is early to bash this series but i myself know that it will not go over well. Anyway if you want to subject yourself to some total ridiculousness then go read the article from its source.
